For candidates newly introduced to food processing technologies and milling systems, this program is suitable for learning basic food processing processes from grain to flour in detail.

Theoretical knowledge will be supported by on-site training at Alapala Academy’s state-of-the-art Alapala Flour Mill. In addition to that, practical training will be provided on laboratory analyses related to the fundamental physical, physicochemical, and chemical properties of wheat grains and flour. Furthermore, you will experience the art of breadmaking at our Bakery Innovation Center.

10:30 – 12:20 Milling process Machines, working principles, properties, Mechanical transportation equipment, Weighing and dosing machines
